Hello,
I'm completely new to Virtual DJ but can't wait to get stuck in writing plugins. It seems like the examples on the website and most of the banter in the developer section of the forums is talking about audio effect plugins. Has anyone written visual plugins (like a winamp visualiser type thing)? Does the dll interface even lend itself to doing that (if you handle all the directdraw stuff yourself/render in a separate window)?

You can create separate windows, so it definitely is possible to create visuals, but is it not simpler to use the "linein://" URL in winamp to have winamp generate the visuals?

I was hoping that the visuals would reflect both the music and the dj's interaction with the console...
