Yes, I have the config setting to "audio files only for SBDJ Slideshow". Usually the first time I deactivate the video after this slideshow has been running about 10 minutes over audio's can create a crash as if it was never deactivated. Do you have any ideas or theories into what might be goin on, or maybe even a workaround for now? Thanx for your response.

No worries, as mentioned on another thread somewhere time has been at a premium the last few weeks - pregnant missus (she's demanding a lot more time now too), along with a house move, the in-laws coming to stay for a few days, the brother-in-law staying for a week, shopping for new appliances for the new house (why are women so fussy?!), coupled with my day job, DJ'ing a few nights a week and a venue opening event tomorrow night - it's been busy ;)

I work for a small company doing Application Development, and support/installation/consultancy of Unified Communications solutions, VoIP, Call Center technology etc...

From memory VDJ has a strange way of enabling and stopping plugins that are used as "for video only files". However Scott's plugin seems to fair a little harder off used like this.

I want to install this on my gig pc, but I never connect to the net on that machine and so do not have the latest DirectX and Visual C++ Runtime updates installed.
Does anyone know how I could install these to the machine without connecting it to the net?

I've tried running the SBDJ slideshow but it doesn't work so assuming it must be because I don't have these updated?

You need the updates, and with Windows, you have to connect to the net for validation. It's safe. Not going online generally means don't do email, surf for porn, and just surf when you're bored. Going online for VDJ updates etc. is fine.

Not to hijack, but Scott, do you have a link to the codec needed to record video from VDJ's record video feature? I can't find the dam codec anywhere.

Oh o...when I ran that pack, I got the "Files Windows need to function have been replaced" window. Should I worry?

Just wanted to make a small comment on this..

I had "DJ Software", and it worked perfectly for playing MUSIC... When I purchased VDJ I did so because it was VIDEO DJing software..
I dont know about anyone else, but ANY "Video" software I have ever seen or used, is capable of handling Videos and Pictures.

One of the major reasons I purchased VDJ is because I was told (and read) it could display a slideshow of pictures at times when I did not have the video for that song.. If it wasnt for the SBDJ plugin, I would be screaming "rip-off" to everyone that could hear me.

by the way.. many of my customers see the "bonus.. not really a feature" slideshows as a bigger selling point then the music video themselves.

Just wanted to publicly thank SBDJ for making this stuff happen.. :-)
