Tópico: Lil problem with the new 5.0 version... help please!

So I've downloaded the 20 days trial just to see how good it was but now, when I open my older version of VDJ I get this Warning Box saying "The database is corrupted" and all my music is "unknown" (the yellow circle with a "?" in front of the music).

Plus all my skins were lost (now I've downloaded again from the site) but anyway I want everything to be back as it was cuz all the Cue points were lost and sometimes the VDJ makes my screen resolution get low and another Warning Box appears...

Please tell me what to do to fix everything or at least not to have these anoying issues.

copy your skins from C:/programfiles/virtualdj

to Mydocuments/virtualdj/skins

and on options on the browser tab press Fix to fix your database.

 
This means that when my 20 days trial is over I'll have my older version of VDJ with all the skins I had?...
 
Wait, maybe I haven't been very precise... My computer has 3 Hard Drives (with 60GB each) and I keep all my music and all my VDJ stuff on the E: drive. and now, after doing what u told me to, when I open my older version it says "The files on the E: drive are corrupted" and again that resolution warning box... I even went to the CONFIG -> Browser and fix Drive E: but it does the same thing =S

What I think just happenned, after I downloaded the trial, is that version 5.0 deleted all the skins and replaced them with the 5.0 skins!!! Is it possible?
 
virtual dj 5 now works from my documents , so skins need to be located in there

try fixing all the drives you have , and check your soundconfig is correct as this can cause unusal screen issues

if this doesnt work ,

it unfortunately , sounds like the instalation failed try a reinstall.
