i just bought the full vdj.
after installing vdj, i get a message "invalidf skin file (error in line %i in xml).
allwready uninstalled all other vdj's. and reinstalled the full vdj.
stil get the message.
the consoleversion and the trail works great on my laptop.
only the full won't start.

be certain that your video resolution is at least 1024x768.

u know, that's happened 2 me a couple of times and it had something to do with adding skins and updating to a newer version or something like that, if I remember correctly. I think what I did was save the virtualdj database file first, then saved the add on skins, then removed virtual dj, did a clean re-install, then once up and running, added back in the database file and skins and then it was fine.

wel...i allready do that for 3 times.
i tried to instal on another pc and it works. there is the trail stil on that pc. no problem.
what i did is....save all skins in another map. unistal the trail and the console version. download the full install. instal 2.05.
than i get a internal database error and after that a skinfile error.
i deleted the 3 skins from the skinmap and place every skin i saved before one by one back in the skinmap.
the suport theme told me that i must do that again. but after 3 times i think it won't help.
when i try to start vdj now i get a database error. then my res. changin to 800-600 pxl then a skinfile error.

what is your screen re-fresh rate? vdj has trouble with anything over 60hz, also the db error you could try and delete the mp3 database.txt file in c:\programfiles\virtualdj or try to delete the xml files if the first option dosn't work. i got a nervesbreakdown and formatted the laptop...lol...
i know how to get my own things back so thats what i have to do now.
after formatting i installed the vdj and it asks me for an update check. 2.05 was found.
works perfect. i think there were some old tings in the pc that i didn't delete.
nobody or nothing can kill my good mood today.

i have lots of work to do today....but i think i can't get my hands of the laptop and console. its totaly perfect.
after some soundcard tings it works perfect.
