Hi i was having problems with Audio being distorted from Laptop Headphone socket (using VDJ only) so decided to Uninstall completley and reinstall

BUT ive noticed a New Version

>> VirtualDJ pro v4.3 PC (full install) (36 MB) - Downloaded 2 times -

>> VirtualDJ pro v5.0 rev2 PC (full install) (11 MB) - Downloaded 0 times

V5.0

Would i be better sticling to 4.3 or for the new 5.0? are there any diferences apart from the File size? is that a good or bad thing the file size is considerably less in size?

thanks for any input

You can read about the updates in the Guides section. http://www.virtualdj.com/support/VDJ5-UserGuide_for_Updates.pdf
Also, there is plenty of discussion in the forums on the new stuff.

And you can have both installed if you want to have V5 to try. Just reinstall v4, then rename the virtualdj.exe to virtualdj_4.exe and create a shortcut for it to your desktop. Then install version 5.

Just enable "Overclock" option and it should stop. Or try to increase latency. Your internal card can't play at low latencies, that's why you have crackles.
