Tópico: usb mic problem

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

i got a Blue Snowball , usb mic .....

it's not really plug 'n play .........when i installed it the system immediately found it , but there was no volume , i rebooted , no joy

everything is working and set right in sounds and audio properties , but no sound ........

i clicked on the voice tab and ran the hardware testing wizard .....when you are prompted to speak it has an input when you click next it has an output and it finally works ???????

only problem the latency is way too high ????

i tried to update the driver for the system sound card , i guess it updated but it didn't fix the problem ......

is there a way to adjust the latency on the system sound card ?? Conexant Amc ?? or can i run it into my Presonus Firebox soundcard ??

also in VMix 5.2 skin the mic fader didn't work ??

i can't get any support from them , they only have phone support M-F bankers hours and then email .....there forum takes 24 - 48 hours to post new items ........

my operating system is XP media center edition .....

i have a slight solution.

1. start > run > "msconfig" > services > "hide all microsoft services" > disable all
2. start > run > "msconfig" > startup > disable all

this should help latency issues.

but seriously bro, connect your mic to the mixer and be done with it.

$10 mix + 5$ cabel = $15 solution.

thanks i tried uninstalling the usb ports and then rebooting ...no fix there , also i updated my BIOS again no luck .....

i hate to quit but i'm running out of options ......

i would like to use this mic ,Blue's reputation for mics is very good , it's very sensitive , like me , and it looks space-age bachelor pad ......
