Are you saying that hitting the "B" on the keyboard is the same as hitting SYNC on the Hercules? My keyboard "B" has been re-assigned to bring up my BPM menu.
But aside from that, I just want to be able to have a song start playing with the beats locked, rather than having to hit SYNC immediately after PLAY. Does that make sense?

OK, well the BEATLOCK function seems to be what I need. But I guess if I want to activate the BEATLOCK using my Hercules, I'll have to remap the SYNC keys, which currently only do a momentary BEATLOCK - not a latched BEATLOCK.
But... why is it that when I engage BEATLOCK before the mix, and I hit PLAY pretty darn close to the downbeat, that it very often jumps to a neighboring beat to sync to?
