Hi Guys
I have a cm200 usb mixer which i believe to be causing sound cut outs. Dos anyone know if the mixer as a thermal cut out installed. The reason i ask is that i had my external harddrive with fan sited below this but for some reason two hours into a gig i would loose sound and the light would be off on the mixer. I assumed the fuse had blown in the plug as changing the lead sorted the problem however the lead was'nt the problem so i then resited the drive which seem to had sorted the problem until one of my gigs had some interuptions with the music. Having seen some other rig setups on this forum i noted that there cm200 usb is enclosed with other gear so wonder if the same issued has happened with these at any time. May be the explanation as to why some of the guys appear to have music stutters bringing to light a hardware problem rather than VDJ.
