Tema: DATABASE PROBLEM...PLZ HELP

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

I RECENTLY UPDATED MY HARDDRIVE TO A LARGER HARDDRIVE
I COPIED ALL MY FILES EXACTLY FROM MY OLD HD TO THE NEW
I RENAMED THE PATHS THE SAME..ex..F:\laptop\MAIN\Dancehall WHEN I COPIED MY MUSIC TO NEW HARDRIVE

!!!!!!ALL MY MP3FILE INFOS ARE GONE..NO CUE POINTS, BPM ETC!!!!!!

I USED A BACKEDUP OLD DATABASE XML FILE AND REPLACED IT

WHY ISNTVDJ RECOGIZE THE SAME FILES? ONLY THE HD IS DIFFERENT?! MUSIC,VIDEO, CPU AND DATABASE ARE SAME!

HOW CAN I GET VDJ AND MY NEW HARDDRIVE TO REMEMBER MY OLD CUE POINTS, TIMES PLAYED, BPM AND ALL OTHER INFO THAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE SAVED IN THE DATABASE FILE

FILES HAVE BEEN COPIED EXACTLY

PLZ HELP IT TOOK YEARS TO COLLECT THE INFO.

This might seem an obvious question but..did you reboot after pasting the XML data?

Either the xml is not located at the root of the drive containing the music, or paths are not exactly the same.

Your new drive must have the same letter, if not, you could do a search/replace to correct the xml.
