Guys, I'm sorry about the rookie questions, but I'm gonna get ready to get my VDJ to work with 1200's. I'm looking for a pair of needles that will work well with scratching..(needless to say I have alot to learn there) But a friend of mine recommended Ortofone. Does anyone really know the difference? Any input would be great.

ortofons are good, they have a set of concordes aimed at scratching:

but theres also the Shure M447 thats people rave about:

it all depends on your budget really, but if you can afford it. i'd go ortofon personally
