Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

hi everyone,
my name is eli

im using vdj with maya 44 usb and 2 pionner 100 cdjs and a laptop.

when i turning on the 'master tempo' option in the cdj's i get a wired sound. like the beats and basses are cuting or something like this.
when i select 'key lock' or 'master tempo' in VDJ i get the same bad sound.

how can i get a clear sound with master tempo like the master tempo of cdj 100?

thanx :]

Don't use the master tempo on the CDJs.

Use the master tempo in VDJ. What do you have in the performances tab, the sound setup tab, and what system specifications are you using?

He asked you what options do you have in VDJ preferences, yes you could upload screenshots too (but watch for dimensions of picture ;) ).

Sorry, yes, in the VDJ config please post screenshots of your "Sound Setup" panel, and your "Performances" tab.

To be able to advice optimal settings, we would also need to really know:

* What soundcard you are using
* CPU Type & Speed
* Amount of RAM
* Whether you are using video, and if so, what video card you have

Regards,

Scott

That'll be why - your settings are all optimised to speed at the expense of quality. You're also not using ASIO mode, which won't give the best TCCD latency either. The reason your master tempo sounds so naff is because it's set to Fast, and scratch is set to simple (it needs to be on enhanced for the advanced master tempo to work).

Give this a whirl...

On the sound setup tab:

Change soundcard from "Maya44 USB" to ASIO, then select the Maya44 in the ASIO window. A config button should appear, which will allow you to set the ASIO latency to a value. Start at say 512, and later on when everything works fine tune this value for your system.

On the performances tab:

* Slide the slider across to best quality
* Set the latency to "Auto"

Try again, and see how you get on. If it still sounds ropey, go back to the performances tab:

* Disable safe mode
* Disable overclock

If everything works, but your system struggles with Master Tempo on, you can also try reducing the master tempo complexity.

The quality of the master tempo will greatly depend on what you ended up using for settings. The VDJ master tempo is not fantastic however.
