Any way to download just the skin for the WEGO? I already have PRO and don't want to install the LE version so is there a way to install the WEGO skin separately? :)

Sorry, this is not possible without installing the LE version. The skin is exclusive to VirtualDJ LE for Pioneer WeGO.

You could install LE (It won't affect your Pro installation) and then uninstall it again afterwards.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but ...

WEGO Controller

Sync button on deck 1 (when using both 2 deck skin and 4 deck vdj pro skins) does not actually "sync" to match the BPM of the other deck(s).

The Sync flashes when pressed but, again repeating, does not set the bpm to the other deck.

When using the 4 deck skin Sync on Deck 3 DOES change to match another deck but does NOT on Deck 1 period.

I did make a change to the mapper of Jogwheel_touch but that was it, don't see how it could have effected the sync map.

Same problem here with 7.1 and ERGO, is there a bug in the 7.1 or are we all going crazy?

Not a bug. Pioneer has asked for the Masterdeck to be on manual mode when launching the software.
The above wiki page explains how the masterdeck works, and how you can enable the auto mode again.

So how do I disable it? I normally use the default 2 deck skin. When I press sync on deck 1 I want it to sync to deck 2. I do quick mixing so I need this to work as it always has with Vdj.

If it can't be done then I'm taking the controller back ti the store. Can't mix videos with it anyway due to the sound issue audio pops brief dropouts.

Unless I missed it reading the wiki link I do not see how to re-enable auto using the 2-deck default skin. Am I to assume I will always have a master deck? Don't want it. At least give us the option. Just done understand why "if it's not broke don't fix it"..sync has ways been sync deck 1 syncs to deck 2. Sync deck 2 syncs to deck 1.

I'm steaming..maybe for no reason but at this point I feel ripped by Pioneer again. When the MEP-7000 came out I dropped good cash for it only to find out I could not mix videos in Vdj with it because of the audio pops/brief dropouts, issue was never resolved. It came down to being told it was a poorly written driver. I bought the WeGo yesterday and discovered the SAME issue. 2 different Pioneer devices using the same laptop same sound issue when playing videos (including clip bank). SAME issue when using the WeGo with the club's computer.

The only common denominators are both computers are XP SP3 and Pioneer ASIO drivers.

I'm here again still wondering if anyone has got the ddj s1 to scratch properly with virtual dj. I actually bought a numark mix deck about two years ago and got the virtual dj le with it.

I was having the same scratching issues with it that's why i bought the ddj s1. works like a charm with itch. but itch is not as user friendly as virtual dj. in my opinion(not disrespecting itch software either) i am willing to buy the vdj software again just wanna know if the scratching issue has been resolved yet for the ddj s1, before i go and spend my money and still have the same problems.
Also i have the same issues with the mix deck express. Therefore am asking is there any controller on the market that i can actually scratch with vdj?

Can someone please!!!!!!

Cioce, thanks. I've tried them all though and nothing clears up the issue when trying to mix videos.

I thought I had some success with Buffer 128 Bit 16 Kernel 3 but after 15 minutes it started having issues. I'm wondering if my issue is XP related as this same thing happens on 2 different XP computers. I'm about to find out with Win 7. I have a friend who has a Win 7 laptop so I'm going to test it on there.

I did call Pioneer Support and spoke to 2 different reps, one passed me off to a number to locate a local authorized repair shop, the second person stated the he is sure I would have no issues with audio pops/brief dropouts if I used the "official" version that was shipped with the unit...the LE version! What a waste of time it was talking to that rep...no help whatsoever!

I have an Asus N56VM-S4125V

- Windows 7 64bit Home Premium SP1
- Cpu Intel Core i7-3610QM 2.30GHz
- Ram 8GB DDR3
- Hard Disk 750GByte SATA 7200rpm + 8GByte SSD
- Video card NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M, 2 GB DDR3
- 15.6'' 16:9 Full HD LED, 1920x1080 pixel
- 4 USB 3.0 + VGA + HDMI

and with the ERGO I use Buffer 512, 16 Bit and Kernel at 3, no problem here.

Latency at 128 on XP machine it's too low for me and if you don't scratch it have no sense to use a low latency.

Last night I had my ddj- ergo lock up and vdj lock up twice while live at a bar. Lucky for me I keep a Ipod touch on hand as backup. Has anyone had any issues with the version 7.2 with the color waveforms going and the controller locking up? All computer drivers are up to date and video drivers are up to date as well. Computer specs are as follows.

HP HDX16
Windows Vista home premium SP2
Intel core 2 duo 2.26
3 gb ram
Nvidia GeForce 9600m GT Video driver with 512mb of ram

I see the firmware for the Wego has been updated....

How do you download it?? All I get is a page error. When I right-click to download the zip file will not open.

possible for mapping/skin for the pro? i just upgraded from LE to Pro only to find out pro don't have the mapper or skin for wego :(

You will need to install VirtualDJ LE that comes with the Pioneer DDJ-WeGO to get the skin (It can then be used in Pro.)

The WeGO mapping is already built into VirtualDJ Pro. Please ensure that you have downloaded and installed the latest v7.2: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the latency between VDJ pro and the DDJ-ERGO for the cue button. There seems to be a very slight delay between what the program does and the controller.

Make sure Smart_play is NOT ON/ a lock by the play with home skin

If you are using a PC, make sure that you are using the Pioneer ASIO driver (See http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/DDJ-ERGO.html ) and then adjust the latency (Buffer size) in its control panel. The smaller the buffer size, the faster the response but the more likely you may encounter sound drop-outs/stuttering if your computer can't keep up.

For best results, make sure that your computer has been optimised for DJ'ing: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Performance%20Issues.html

Also, make sure that you have the latest drivers and firmware for the DDJ-ERGO installed: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Common_Device_Drivers.html

We are having a nightmare of a time using the latest Virtual Dj and the previous version with a Pioneer DJM900 Nexus.

The Setup: We have a Windows 7 machine running Virtual Dj 7.2 connected to the Pioneer DJM900 Nexus mixer via USB 2.0. The computer has the DJM900 driver version 1.303 installed. The Pioneer DJM900 Nexus firmware is at 1.21. The Virtual Dj software is configured to use channels 1 and 2 of the mixer via ASIO. Channels 3 and 4 of the Pioneer DJM900 Nexus are open for either a Pioneer CMX3000 dual CD player or for single line input from guest Djs using their own equipment.

The Issue: We get a lot of distortion in playback through the USB when set Virtual Dj is set to use 2 channels of the Pioneer mixer, distortion is greater when mixing, ie. when both channels are providing output. This distortion is thick digital sounding blurbs in low mid to bass range. Our workaround at the moment is to run the Virtual Dj software as a single line out but even then we still get some blurbs and pops. This setup has not always had issues, this has been a problem that has arisen in the last two months. We have reinstalled all software, removed everything from the mixer but the computer, replaced the USB cable, all to no avail. Any ideas?

I bought DDJ-WEGO and purchase VIRTUAL DJ PRO Basic by download yesterday.
but I will not be able to operate the software from the controller and after a few minutes.
When I started software, the caution message that means "this hardware doesn't work on this software in 10 minutes" appeared.

DDJ-WEGO doesn't correspond to PRO Basic?
Do I must upgrade to PRO Full?

Sorry, because I'm Japanese,so my English is bad x(

Sorry, VirtualDJ Pro Basic does not support MIDI controllers. It is for mixing using your mouse and keyboard only as clearly stated on the product purchase page http://www.virtualdj.com/products/basic.html and the product comparison page http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html

To use MIDI controllers, you will need to upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Professional: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

There is a discount for owning VirtualDJ LE for Pioneer WEGO, so please use your LE serial number to upgrade via the above page. Once you have done this, please contact support to have your incorrect purchase of VirtualDJ Basic cancelled and refunded to you: http://www.virtualdj.com/contact/index.html

Thank you for your answer.
I bought PRO Full. =)
