I have a quick question:
I'm looking to grab some interesting Video/audio plugins. When downloading, do I have to ONLY use plugins that are for version 5 or 5.2? Or will plugins for later versions work?

i would imagine most of the older plug ins would have been upgraded to run with five and above by now.

If the plugin requires a later version than you are using, it's probably because it's using a change to the SDK that wasn't available in earlier versions. Plugins for older versions generally work, although if really old they may not!

Thanks for the replies! I didn't want to try to run a plugin and somehow "break" something with bad code.

You can always just delete it if it doesn't work.
Always make sure you test plugins and your whole system as much as possible after changing something before using for a live gig and you'll find things are much smoother :)
