Looking to pick one of these up in the near future. Anyone have experience with them? Good, bad, tips...anything would be appreciated.

I never tried the Pioneer, but I can tell you as a KP2 owner that I don't need to try anything else. I bought mine about a month ago. It does take practice, but after that...set your presets and you're ready to go live. Love the BPM stuff!
It's not dummy proof...you could screw up your set if you don't know what you're doing. But the effect depth knob can be used as a safety :)
I use a pioneer mixer and like it, so I don't dislike the brand. But I won't try the next pioneer unless the specs are through the roof, and has an XY pad :) ...however, I will buy the next Korg KP without even trying it.
