in the beatgrid effect you can draw 9 different patterns. is there a way to map those 9 different patterns to midi buttons?

This is only possible if the effect responds to effect button and/or effect slider.

Unfortunately Beatgrid uses its own custom graphic user interface (GUI) instead of the default built-in VDJ interface and ignores effect button/slider, so this is not possible.
