There is a script to enable a clipbank slot?

for example :

activate clipbank slot 1...
....
...
activate clipbank slot 12.

Thanks.

I don't know what you mean but I have a issue with clipbank.

Basically I think you should have clip bank's 1 - 12 and then you can set them up n leave them, I'm now having to unload n reload clips depending on what club I'm at. Be nice to have them set and then just click on which one you want depending on what venue your at.

Yah Charlie

I've been asking for venue folders on previous post for that very reason, much easier to organize an faster to get started.

As for the clip banks maybe if a playlist Que can be assigned to each bank would that help?

If it can then maybe a playlist Que plugin for the clip bank is what we need.

My intention is to simulate a video sampler :

I want assign to "cue point" an audio sampler and a clipbank slot

After doing a video post-production work for a perfect synchronization between audio and video.
Proper instructions to activate audio sampler and clipbank simultaneously is :

video_fx_button 1 & & video_fx sampler 1 play_stop

it work fine :)

sorry for my scholastic English

Can you not copy the clipbank plugin and thus gain extra preset banks that way? That used to be how you did it; I assume it still works?

Thats the way I do it, I copy the .dll and name it differently, at one point I had like 12 clipbanks. I however still use the old version as I like it better.

Yes, I'll have a go at doing this.

You can also get it to select the clipbank plugin (If it's not the current selected video FX) by using:

video_fx_select 'clipbank' & video_fx_button 1 & video_fx

Hi jpbooggis

1. Can you please explain how your script works?

2. Is it possible to write a script that would call a Genre clipbank if you name them Rock, Reggae, RnB, ect setting them up separately, so if your playing a reggae session that genre clipbank would play or RnB session that clipbank would play?

Thank you

Joey......

Can anyone explain how once I rename a clipbank .dll and call it "Reggae".

1. Where do I go to trigger it in the program.

2. What steps would I have to do in order to swap one clipbank with another.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

Joey...

That only works with the original clipbank from the earlier versions of VDj, I don't think it works with V4, v5 or v6 clipbank...if it does I am doing something wrong because I can't get it to work anymore since V3

The script selects the video FX plugin named 'Clipbank', presses FX button #1 (To select clip #1) and activates the FX to turn it on/off.

This will probably not work with older version of the clipbank plugin, which was written in a different (Non-standard) way.

Hi jpboggis

Thanks for that info, so what version of the clipbank would work and i'm currently using 5.2

Joey...

Any help with this would be appreciated.
What Ver. of clipbank will it work with?

Thank You

Joey...

Those instructions are for v6. Something similar using a macro in v5.2 might work, providing you have the up-to-date clipbank installed (The new one that comes with the software.) This doesn't allow renaming though, unlike the earlier version, but the earlier version does not work in the proper standard way, so it's unlikely shortcuts will work with it.

video_select_fx VALUE: clipbank
video_fx_button VALUE: 1
video_fx

So does this mean there's no work around, Replace *clipbank" with clipbank#1 and so on?
I was really looking forward to a solution.

Thanks
Joey...
