so if i understand this you would no longer need to use the shoutcast plugin? how does the nwe one work? i'm waiting a smooth as butter report on 2.1 and oh i will mos def join the future of dj'n. i think i might have to get the TCV 1st. i was wondering what if my TT's are not as close as i would like them to be? if you were beat juggling and had a cue point set with a shortcut would you still have to back cue the vinyl or would the shortcut bring back the beat without moving the vinyl?

Well the new broadcast feature has 2 option:
1) VDJ works as a server and broadcasts in .ogg format (no need for shoutcas) or
2) Using a shoutcast option, you can use shoutcast server as before, just without a plug-in (it's now built into VDJ).
Nr. 2 works great (it now also sends the track's author and title). I tryed the 1st one but couldn't make it work :S dunno why.
