I'm trying to map my first Midi. It's a M-Audio X-Session (not pro) and i'm using the Midi Simple config with the auto learn function and mapping by clicking on the skin. I'm not fancy and all I would like to do with this controller is map the crossfader and the eqs from both decks. i've got the fader figured out but i can only map the active deck's equalizer knobs. When i switch the PFLbutton the eq knobs i've mapped jump from one deck to the newly activated one. How can i map both the active and inactive eq knobs so i can adjust both simulataneously? Thanks.

You can add deck 1 or deck 2 in front of the action to make it apply to a specific deck, e.g:
deck 1 eq_high
deck 2 eq_low
For further information, please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/index.html and http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VDJScript%20Examples.html

How is this done with Mac?
I'm trying to map my friends new MBP using a map from PC. I grabbed the XML from the PC, however am finding that it's not dropping into the Mac as easily. I've read the following post: http://de.virtualdj.com/forums/115456/MAC_Version_Technical_Support/Custom_MIDI_mapping_on_Macbooks.html but can't seem to get it right. So, I tried remapping each deck, but can't seem to find how to assign a certain play_stutter button to it's own deck. Yes, I *am* aware that you can set an "active" deck and just use a 'one-button for both deck' set-up, but I have my controller already set-up for dual deck usage.
EDIT: I suppose I should reiterate that I don't have the Mac in front of me right now. I guess I'm asking if adding "deck 1" to the front of the action is all I need to do.

Please don't bump an old topic from January last year by posting a message that is not related in any way.
This topic is about mapping the M-Audio X-Session and has nothing to do with controlling VirtualDJ with Android.
Further information about VDJscript mapping can be found on the following page: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VDJscript.html
