Is there a way in virtual DJ to record/listen to samples without them going out on the main channel so people on the floor can here it? I often find the "awesome" sample I just recorded sounds really lame with the current song I am playing and would love to be able to prelisten to them through my headphones in the same way you can do when cueing a song.

I don't know about other sound cards but the Virtual Vinyl sound card has a third output channel that you can use just for samples and route to a third line on your mixer enabling you to pre-listen to samples and mix them in as you like.

I run three outputs; deck 1, deck 2, samples & preview
to my mixer..
this is the only way i can think of to accomplish what you want..

AFAIK the RMX is only two channel output. You need three output channels.
