I'd like to know if the BBE d82 Sonic Maximizer software plugin will work with VDJ. I know the 482i and 882i signal processor units will work, but I was curious if this plugin will work so I don't have to carry around extra sound equipment because space is at a premium for me.

Yeah, I'd be interested to know, people who have them seem to love them, so if a plugin could do the same thing that would be brilliant.

I use a BBE 482 Sonic Maximizer, it makes the music clearer. Love it.
If they can make software to do the same thing then I may have to check it out.

It is a VST plugin - Windows® RTAS, VST -- but I have never used it so I can not confirm if it does work. But VirtualDJ does support VST plugins.

I've just downloaded the trial version of the pluggin and it works. You have to copy the 'D82 Sonic Maximizer.dll' file from 'C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins\BBE Sound\' folder to 'VirtualDJ\Plugins\SoundEffect\' folder. Than activate the pluggin and play around with the virtual knob and you will hear the difference :)

Bad news :( ...after upgrading to v 6.0.8 vdj don't start unless I delete the bbe d82 plugin. After deleting the plugin vdj starts. If I copy the pluggin back to sound effect folder vdj won't start. I don't know why.

No, it's not working. I forgot to write the specs: asus g2p laptop (core2duo t7200 cpu, 2gb ram, ati x1700 dedicated 512ram), windows 7 ultimate.
