Hi Guys,
I'm in need of a bit of advice please! I'm trying to find a way of controlling the VDJ effects without using the keyboard and mouse. By controlling not only do I want to trigger the effect but also manipulate its parameters (for example I'd be wanting to change how many beats are cut on the 'Cut' effect) perhaps just with a knob or something
Something else I'd like to do would be to have something that would trigger the samples I have loaded into the VDJ sampler. Am I right in thinking the Akai LPD 8 midi controller would do the trick? is there any way I could use that to control my effects as well? Now, I could always use the 6 buttons on my RMX to trigger samples and therefore would only need a device to trigger/manipulate the effects....

P.S I'm running VDJ Pro on a Macbook Pro 2.4ghz using Hercules RMX as a mixer/controller with 2 Stanton turntables running SL2 TCV

The LPD-8 should be perfect for what you want to do.
