Tema: VDJ 7+CD-J 350+DJ-M 350 Sound problem

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Hi, I just got my CDJ 350 together with DJM 350, I set up both CDJ as a sound card in VDJ 7 using the DJM as an external mixer. It has minimum latency and it was also pre-mapped. now I don't have problem setting it up, but I do have problems with the sound quality, after using it for around 10 minutes the sound started cracking both in the headphones and the main output.

how do i fix this? do I need an interface to help with the sound problems? if so how do I set it up (I was thinking of purchasing Audio4 by native instrument)

Cheers,

Ben

Hi

I'm new to this forum and software...

I thought I would try the Virtual DJ / Numark Cue software as an all in one alternative to what I presently use and was impressed at how it searches and it's general layout, however having used it the other day, I found I had to revert back to my old software (Show Presenter for Karaoke and PCDJ Dex for Audio) because of a crackling noise through the speakers when using the Virtual DJ software.

I have searched this forum and tried a number of proposed fixes to no avail and someone mentioned that a ground loop isolator may resolve the issue.

Could crackling from the speakers be resolved by the use of this device?

I do not have this problem using my old software only through Virtual DJ which does seem strange.

I would seriously like to upgrade to the full version but unless I can resolve this issue, it would be money wasted so your help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Please open your own new topic rather than hi-jacking an existing one that is not related to your question in any way.

You question appears to have nothing to do with problems using Pioneer CDJ-350 + DJM-350.

Edit: It appears that somebody incorrectly told you to post in this topic instead of your original separate topic. Please see your original topic http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/144873/PC_Version_Technical_Support/Speakers_Crackling_On_Audio_Video_and_Karaoke.html for a possible solution and/or to continue discussion of your problem if necessary.

i think iv solved my problem with the crackling noise i use to get when i was mixing with my 400's.
i decided to check my sound setting via the icon on my task bar(bottom right hand cornner )

so i opened up my realteek HD audio manager and stuffed around with my DEAFAULT FORMAT tab.
it was on a differen Hz and put it to 16 Bits, 44100Hz (CD Quality) and it seems to b ok now, no crackling noises so far.
ill post anything up if i get them noises again.

Been looking for the answer to the crackling: I'm gonna try this-plug your USB's in the USB slots farthest from screen(for laptops)
