I will be using it for video mixing of course! Let me know what you think I should do or add or change.

PCI-Express mobo and graphics? Much faster than "good old" AGP.

How about this?

Mobo seems fine.
Maybe a 256mb card is more preferred. Compare it with this one. I'll sure go with this one instead. Costs a bit more, but you will probably not regret it though.

However, I am not sure if it is more important to have more RAM on your graphics or if it's as much RAM for the system that is preferred for video mixing in VDJ.

the speed of the ram and gpu are more important than memory in regurds to video cards. Memory beyond 128 really isn't needed for vdj video, but dosen't hurt either. So the choice is up to you. PCIe is very good, but remember we wern't able to fully use agp to the 8x spec either.

I recommend The Intel motherboard D945GNTLR ($128)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813121290
. And change your memory to DDR2 667 ($173)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820144199
Processor 530J: ($175)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819116200
You got more performance with this. If you have a little more go for the 630 Intel Processor or the 640.
You could use 4 SATA and put in Matrix RAID 50 (which is supported by this motherboard).

I think the case you select will not cold all the devices properly. I will go for this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129151
Or change the power supply with one with 450 watts and a double fan (one face it to the interior of the CPU and the other face it to the outside). The heat will be and issue with the previously case you select.

What Nvidea GEforce 6600 card do you use Cyder and where did you get it from? Can you or anyone give me the link to that? There are so many!

6600GT very important you get the gt version of the card. I like the gigabyte ones myself. I picked mine up from newegg.com. I think it was about 140.

I think I answer you before, but didn't see posted :-s ... Well, Cyder was right the video card for NVidia most be GT for optimal performance. And the case I recomend was for the processor chip you may use. The 2 case is fine too. And take a look for the D955 based motherboard is the best (of intel) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813121286 ($266)
And you could use a D945P based motherboard 'cause you don't will use an integrated video card (like D945G)
