I'm probably gonna get BLASTED for this but.....
Black eyed Peas did NOT do a great job for the Superbowl halftime show.

They got better towards the end but overall.....

We can get blasted together City. They sounded like total ass after a chili cheese burrito. Completely disappointed.

By official decree, I do here by make the following statement. All half-time shows at the Super Bowl shall be performed only by Prince. Since he is the only one to not suck out loud. So let it be written, so let it be done....

ok before this post gets locked for not being related to djing let me say this...

the singing they did should not be played at any event... although many music video download sites will use the footage to make a music video remix for you to d-load.
Having said that, the super bowl should only feature real bands... even though im not a fan of rock, but they always sound better than the karaoke. Would be great if they had grandmaster flash doing some wacky colabo with toby keith... i know! use your imagination...

SAINTS/COLTS last year had The Who. The sound for this years halftime was horrid! Maybe it was fox because last year I don't recall all the sound issues.

They really did suck though.

I think they should have kept Fergie's mic off like they had it when she first started.

will have to catch replay somewhere. slept through the whole game. but have already heard from a crapload of people on facebook that they are gonna send nasty-grams to whoever got the "entertainment" for halftime. lots of ticked off fans.
 
watched on youtube. sad. even usher's "performance" was lame.

Well Let's just not bash the BEPs lets jump on the sound guys/girls as well! Did they not reherse? Mic cues, fader up hello!

best thing about the halftime show was...that curly headed girl playing the guitar ;0) and those white suits that flashed green and red, I want one of those lol
 
The best Superbowl halftime show I can remember was.....

The L'il ole band from Texas...ZZ TOP
But that was about 15 years or so ago. If I remember correctly the BILLS were losing one of their Superbowls.

Here as some alternatives that might have been better for halftime (I've seen all of them live in a hockey arena and know they don't suck)

Godsmack
Disturbed
Nickleback
Ozzy Osbourne
Green Day

Thing is - I've been wondering when was the last time any act really rocked a Superbowl halftime show? Other then the bearded dudes.
