Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing 2 x Denon SC2000 as controllers. Problem would be that if I do this, I can only use the mono seperate output at the moment as sound setup to my external mixer. (My laptop only has one soundcard.)
What is the setup for having 2 x stereo out? Through an external soundcard?
Any recommendations there and how do you set this up?

You would ideally need a proper DJ sound card with at least two stereo outputs, such as Numark DJIO or Native Instruments Audio 2 DJ.
Either of these will give you the two separate outputs for the left and right decks that you require.
The split option that you are currently using will only give you MONO sound which is not ideal for live performance.

In addition to this I am looking to buy the same cdjs, can you use these with a hercules rmx either as a mixer only or set up with 4 decks?

In the full VirtualDJ Pro you can use multiple MIDI controllers, so yes, you would be able to use both DN-SC200's and the RMX together. This would allow you to control 4 or even 6 decks (Each DN-SC2000 is capable of controlling two different decks via the DECK button.)

similar problem:
i would to use a sc2000 with a numark NS6, using the denon as deck3 only .
with ns6 i control the decks 1 & 2, and with 4ch mixer i control everything (mic on channel 4 too).
seems that sc2000 control only deck 1 (when blue) or 2 (when red). How to control ONLY the deck3, without collision with NS6 controls?

Go to Config -> Mappers and assign the SC2000 to control decks 3&4. Assign the NS6 to decks 1&2.

ok, but in sc2000 mapper I don't see any referement to decks.
for example, the key "DECK CHG" (that swift the decks controlled by denon) is not assigned to nothing !?? but it works.
i use a 4 decks skin (the rusty skin) and denon control the 3rd or 4th ONLY if I swap them in the skin, from under to above.
I just want control the deck3 without swap it above (hope my english is comprensible)
Have I to modify ALL commands of sc2000 mapper.. to be forced direct to deck 3?
