After a month of trouble shooting between Denon Virtual and Mac I finally got to play my first show and here today my second show The Denon will not power up? I have never experienced so much difficulty from any of my studio equipment?

it sounds like you may have a defective unit i have a mac running vdj 7 and an mc6000 and it works great with the occational crash.

Often on startup, I have to lower the channel volume faders down from max in order to get any output from the MC6000. If you forget, you will not get audio out even though everything is plugged in and loaded correctly. I also had one recent incident where I had no video output on the external VGA display for the same reason -- the fader was maxed out. After pulling the fader down, everything worked fine.
