why doesnt the platters respond with VDJ like they do with Serato itch

Again, those are by user 'feel' ...
Bend - more to the left then you get less bending when the platter turns - more to the right you get a greater bend % when platters are turned.
Cue - same thing - left is lest speed / right is more speed

For faster response, what about checking hid or midilowlatency, does this help or cause issues?

There is no such thing as MIDI low latency. Serato simply uses a diffrent protocol to send MIDI information. The name is just something Serato calls it.
And the device has to support HID in order to use HID.
As far as Bend and Cue slider settings it is up to your preference.

To get better response for your platters with the NS6 you must download the "registry tool" from the virtual dj website under tools i believe. Then you must change the default platter latency from 2095 or whatever it is to 1024. I was going crazy until I saw this on one of the forums myself and I was dancing around my living room when I finally figured it out!
