Tema: A FEW QUESTIONS FROM ANOTHER NEW GUY

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

So after about two weeks of reading, researching, and watching every video on youtube with the words "MIXTRACK PRO" or "VIRTUAL DJ" in it, I finally bought mine yesterday and installed it last night. It came with VDJ LE version 6 something and I was a little confused because it didn't have all of the configuation options I was expecting and less settings than the free home version I was playing with beforehand. I registered it here and downloaded the updated version which was much better but still missing a few things I thought I was going to have access to. So here are my questions just because I'm new to this and I couldn't find the answers anywhere else:

1) Why can't I go full screen on my external monitor? When I click the maximize button it only goes full screen on my laptop monitor and not on the external monitor, does that mean I can't do it or do I have to change my external monitor to my main monitor in the windows settings?

2) Why can't I access the full configuration page so I can change my skin and many of the other individual options? I only have acess to the input/output/soundcard options and I get the free trial to Pro as well. I used to have more options in the free home version that I was sure I'd have in the LE version.

3) Can I set it up so the laptop pushes the main sound out while still keeping the headphones as the cue source or do I have to connect an external sound source to the mixtrack pro using the audio outputs?

Thank you all for the help.

The LE version supplied is a watered down version given free with the relevant controller. I seem to remember full screen video is not available with LE, and you don't need a config page as it's already set up to work with the controller out of the box. LE users also don't have access to skins or plugins. Have a look here at the comparison chart:

The home free version is better featured than LE, but you can't use home with a midi controller. The version you have however gives you a generous discount if you wish to upgrade to VDJ Pro.
