This is annoying. VDJ won't reconnect to my PC speakers after I use a USB device, like headphones or an external sound card. I get:
"Error in the sound driver (Directx/wdm): Your Soundcard is probably not connected, or the settings are incorrect"
Now, I can see my Realtek speakers in the drop down menu , but when I try to select them, it gives me the same error.
Now, if I select "reset to factory setting" they come back, but of course as soon as i go to a gig or use the headphone, the problem returns.
Um... what the heck?

sounds more like a windows issue then a VDJ issue..
What does your audio panel in windows say when your switching devices?
Are you disconnecting the external device, then restarting the computer?
kinda sounds like the drivers are messing with each other, and not releasing control even though the device is disconnected.
Windows XP? or?

I'm having this same problem too. I have a iDJ3 that I bought today and I can't get the sounds to work with my laptop speakers. I'm using Windows 7 and don't know what the problem is. Plus, do you need headphones to make this work or something? Thanks.
