I have been running Virtual DJ LE for a few weeks and enjoying it with the thought of upgrade.
My at home setup:
PC: Vista 32bit, Processor 2.4 dual, 4gb ddr2 ram
MIDI: Hercules Steel (usb 2.0)
This setup has been beginner at best and a ton of fun to say the least... my home sound system is fairly large ((4) 12s x 1000w) and my PC sound card was not cutting it.
I added a Native Instruments A2DJ Ext card. Which sounds much better!! BUT...
This is where my problem began. My PC performance monitor never hits above 50% no matter how many commands I pass through the midi. But with the addition of the sound card, I now get random "cracks" in my audio. Even worse, the same mixing and effect use that ran flawlessly before the sound card addition, now causes VDJ LE to freeze for 20-30 sec and then resume.
So my question is, is VDJ LE not able to keep up with the midi input/ext sound card output or is my computer not sufficient... new computer? (which is inevitable) or will an upgrade to Pro resolve this issue?
Thank you for any and all help,
Carl

Stuttering, crackling and other audio issues are caused by performance issues with your computer and/or incorrect configuration in VirtualDJ.
