hey just recently i have started recording my mixes and everything was good until not too long ago. i noticed when i would make a transition to another song the gain would automatically move, sometimes causing it to be extremely distorted and sound terrible.
i am using a numark mixdeck and this problem only just started happening. the only cause i can think of is because i just started using mp3gain to control the volume levels of all my songs so they would match. but now i have run into an even bigger problem!
thanks for the help and if theres anymore info thats needed from me please let me know.

I could be wrong but it sounds like VDJ is re-analysing your tracks again. I'd go through and re-analyze your tracks again and see if that helps.

ok thanks, how can i scan them with virtual dj to stop this from happening? ive selected all the songs and right clicked, but it doesnt give me an option.
also, what should i have my masters set as? on both virtual dj and my mixer.

When you right click on your tracks you'll another window open when you move the mouse over "BPM", it should say "re-analyze". Hit that and let it do it thing.
As far as where your levels should be, that's gonna be different for everyone. I would say since your using a Mixdeck (external mixer), I wouldn't touch anything on screen. Meaning leave everything zeroed out. Only adjust the levels on the Mixdeck. That's what I do with mine.
Hope that helps
