I have noticed that when going into track info when trying to download a song cover Google is only sending back plain black covers for everything. Is anyone else getting this issue?

Yes me too, and its been happening for about 6 months. i just figured it would be fixed as it appeared to be so obvious.

Can this be looked into please. the images come up as a black box 1x1px big, for every cover you search for in google. the other two search options seem fine.

I have been having this issue, last time I used was in July... Tried to use it in October and all I get is a 1x1 black/blank image.

Hey...!!!

I just notice today this problem has gotten worse.

Even with songs with art already attached I'm getting black blanks...

Is there a setting we need to check...???

I didn't have this problem with vdj 6 I'm only seen it with vdj 7.

OK,

It is not the version because I have vdj 6 and it's still acting the same.

It has to be something else...

This is a feature I really love and use.
I find I can remember the cover art better sometimes than the titles...
Plus it just looks great when mixing to see the cover art...

I hope some one has an answer to this cover art problem.

It would be great if we could add our own jpeg images to the cover art..
But it looks like we'll be waiting for a while for an answer...

I'm now getting no results on the first two engines, followed by our 1x1 google result.

Is this being looked into!?

Gentlemen,

The problem is that Google has changed their default code for covers. This may be corrected in a future update, but is currently not high priority as it does not cause any functionality problems with the software.

It causes Show Covers not to function.........sense it has to use covers VDJ generates, so I would say that's a functionality problem.

Other than 'Show Covers' not working, does the rest of the software function correctly? That is what I meant by functionality, sorry if there was some confusion with my previous post.

I am just wondering why you guys are having problems with "album cover art" the world wide web has everything as resources i don't have any problems as that right now, yes you are right from googles it is sending black square images, but i can still downloads any cover of the albums i want.

There's no problem with the "album cover art" the problem is I have to search for them then add it to the ID3 tag then reload my tags.........you get where I'm goin with this?? With VDJ you don't have to do any of that cause it used to automatically do it for you..........

I'm lazy ok.......
