Hi,
Midilog 3 on the VMS4, (Vol fader 2 - output 5&6) has become substantially weaker than the other channels.
I prepare the sound by trying to achieve +4dB on the VU with the master on about 5 or 6 and i gain up on each channel to get this and then bring the booth volume down so i don't get a headache.
In this case, when all other outputs are reaching +4dB for example, output 5/6 on midilog 3 only achieves about -7dB with the gain up fully.
I apologize if this should be redirected to the AA forum but i made some changes to some settings today and i am not sure if i have caused the problem or my hardware is finished.
Thanks for the help guys.

Troubleshooting is the way you need to go...
Change the Advanced Sound setup and assign deck 1 to midilog 3 (outs 5,6) and deck 2 to midilog 2 (outs 3,4) and see if the problem is hardware or software related.

Sadly the vms4 has serious flaws and after time all of your channels will die. Mine lasted 2months before all were dead and i had to send back for a refund.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies, firstly the VMS4 is fine, iv had it for 7 months and nothing is wrong apart from the paintwork.
Secondly, troubleshooting has worked for me, one of the knobs on my monitors was turned down by accident. Just goes to show that some simple troubleshooting is the only way to isolate a non hardware problem with no stress.
Thanks
