Hi All,

I am running VDJ Pro Full with 2 TT's, External Mixer, with a U-Mix44. If i setup the sound options using the basic mode, all works incredibly well. Recently I decided to throw my mixtrack pro into the mix as well as set up a recording channel. For some reason, VDJ only appears to see 1 channel when in advanced mode. When moving the crossfader, only deck 1 plays sound. If i put it back to basic mode using the external mixer setting all works fine, but I can't add any additional decks or the recording channel.

After working with support, basically I was told my sound card isn't compatible........Seems to me that if it recognizes all channels in basic mode and then dies in advanced mode, it isn't a sound card issue. Thought I would throw it out to some of the resident experts for some help.

In advanced...this is what I have setup

Deck 1 - Umix Out Channel 1/2
Deck 2 - Umix Out Channel 3/4
Timecode 1- Umix In Channel 1/2
Timecode 2- Umix In Channel 3/4

Thanks in advanced for the help.

do both the u-mix and the mixtrack have asio drivers installed, there was a problem with numark virtual vinyl because the box didn't use asio drivers so could not sync with another soundcard, also i think the mixtrack didn't come with asio, you need to get it from the numark website, might be the same with the u-mix.

because of the issue in adcanced config I just got an audio 8... sounds much better anyway..

I haven't plugged the mixtrack in yet due to the problems....

The umix does come with asio drivers. However, upon further investigation, installing asio4all revealed the umix only showing 1 channel not 2. So the asio drivers that come with it recognize it but not the asio4all drivers.......weird. That makes sense why even with just the TT's and mixer running through umix, i still can't configure them in advanced and get it to work.

I'm still unclear why VDJ works in basic. You would think the asio driver would appear the same to VDJ regardless of basic or advanced conifguration.....
