I have a brand new Lenovo ideapad laptop Z570. The Processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU@2.20GHz. 4 GB RAM. 64 bit. At first, all my videos were choppy and useless. I know the unchecking video accelerator will fix it, but then I lose the text on screen feature (I use that a lot)
I went to the Registry Tool and checked 'VideoYV12Bug'. That fixed the problem for .flv, .wmv, and .mp4 videos. It did nothing for .mpg videos (at least half of my videos are .mpg) Modifying the 'VideoMemMaxUse' made no difference. I've been using version 6.1.2 without problem till now. I tried VDJ 7.0.5 Pro with the same result.
All forms of videos have worked on previous laptops (HP & Dell) using 6.1.2 Help.... What am I missing here?

you could try reinstalling the .vob/.mpg codec, worth a try. Any reason why your not using the latest version.

The laptop may have dual video cards - One for high performance and the other lower performance to conserve battery life (Used by default.)
Please see our FAQ pages for info on how to make it run on the higher performance card: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/My%20video%20output%20runs%20slowly%20or%20is%20very%20choppy.html
