depends on the rest of the setup, the dj i/o is only a stereo card, 2 in 2 out....

its basically a straight through box that allows the most basic connectons.... what aplication you are using it for would help us to offer a better view.

personally ive never found a use for the dj i/o ....

im going to run it into a live sound board for karaoke and probably use it with the numark dj 2 go. The DJ I/O will allow me to use headphones right?

I currently use a denon hc 4500 with a numark 200 fx board. I want to put a permanent setup in one of the venues I work at and figured this would be a not too costly route.

i use the djio as my backup laptop.was my main soundcard and have it now about 6 years and never let me down.
its not as loud as others but does a good job.
perfect to run two channels to a mixer for ka5raoke.just make sure to have up to date drivers

I use the Dj IO and LOVE it!!....Great sound....really rich and powerful....No complaints in a no frills, basic Soundcard....cant go wrong at that price either....imo

The only issues I've seen with this card are driver related. Chuck the cd in the bin, d/l from numark and you're golden.

I'm currently using the Numark mix track and DJ virtual 7..
the problem I'm facing is that when i install the DJ IO to my Apple computer and
it doesn't give me the drop down option to choose from, to pick the "ASIO DRIVER."

please help or let me know if i wasn't well explain??

ASIO doesn't exist and isn't needed on MacOS. I'ts PC only.

MacOS uses native CoreAudio, which supports low latency.

To correctly configure Numark DJIO on MacOS, please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/DJIO.html
