Probly the best thing you can do at this point is watch some YouTube vids of the rmx console. You can really learn a lot from watching other people use the controller and there are lots of tutorial style videos as well. There is also a skin that works perfectly with the rmx unit so that you don't have to re-map any buttons. The rmx is a great console and I really love mine whether I'm using it as a stand alone unit or in combo with my turntables and external mixer. Also, take the time to learn the effects and how they work. Then you will see the true creative power.

Setup > Mappers > Select your controller from the drop-down > Scroll to the button you want to change > Type: effect 'NameOfEffect' active
