Tópico: Mapping a midi fighter pro?

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

is there already a/some map/s for virtual dj? it seems like it would be a bit complicated to do it myself, also im buying a reloop terminal mix 4 and although im sure there will be, can anyone shed some light on a mapper for that too? ( NOTE: when i recieve my trial version with my controller im upgrading to pro straight away, not doing it yet because it would be financially stupid.)

I have a mapper for the midifighter classic just waiting on someone to properly test it, I assusme the Pro sends all the same messages, it just has the extra potentiometers and buttons that would need to be defined. If you can give me the midi notes for the extra controls I can make it work on the pro....

The Reloop will probably have out of the box support in Pro as it is bundled with VDJ LE, although Atomix may need to provide another minor release to include the new controllers hitting the market before VDJ8 hits, although no one knows when that will be.

hey thanks for the quick response synthet1c , as soon as i have the controller id love to work with you over the mapper as i know absolutely nothing useful about mapping and it would be nice to help those wanting the same as me ( although everything you want me to do will have to be explained as simply as possible :P ) . Also what does that mean? ill have to use the le version if i want to use the controller or the le version has the mapper file in it somewhere and by transferring it it will work on pro ?

it just means vdj pro needs another release as the files to support the the T4m aren't built into the current one, but as atomix and reloop have a great relationship I cant see there being a problem, althouth the solution may be temporary meaning you download a mapper and definition from the forum to make it work until the next full release drops.

in regards to mapping it I have one for the s2 that can have the actions pasted straight in, thats the great thing about mapping in vdj you can simply paste something from any other controller straight in and it will work.. although jogs sometimes need a little fine tuning, but it's fairly straight forward as you just need to change a couple of numbers in the script.
