So I have my RMX for about 3 months and just recently found out wierd thing...
When I press 'button 4' which is mapped to loop_out it also operate the filter knob on the skin (it goes 100% when pressed down and 0% when releassed)...
I figured I can get around it with down ? filter 50% : filter 50% it worked fine but then I've found same thing is done when 'beatlock' button is pressed but for key knob this time...
It does it only on the left side of controller.
It happened on Mac (which I used mainly) so I've tried on laptop with Vista (same result)
So I thought cleaning my Mac and reinstaling Vdj would help ... Nope ... And after doing all that found out other buttons are doing same thing for fx param... :))
Tried to revert RMX mapping to factory settings - same result
When I run it with miditrace, first it sends this (with no button being pressed):
F0 7E 00 06 02 00 01 4E 02 00 04 00 01 00 00 00 F7
B0 37 3E 00
B0 38 18 00
B0 39 40 00
B0 3A 00 00
B0 3B 3F 00
B0 3C 7F 00
B0 3D 3B 00
B0 3E 3C 00
B0 3F 3F 00
B0 40 42 00
B0 31 3F 00
B0 32 7F 00
B0 33 3F 00
B0 34 41 00
B0 35 3D 00
B0 36 40 00
then for buttons being pressed:
button 1
left side
B0 01 7F 00
B0 01 00 00
right side
B0 19 7F 00
B0 19 00 00
button 4
left side
B0 04 7F 00
B0 04 00 00
right side
B0 1C 7F 00
B0 1C 00 00
etc... it doesn't show anything unusual
Anybody have any ideas what's wrong?
Thanks in advance...

Did you install any add-on mappers that could influence the behavior of the console ?
Have you tried reloading the default mapper configuration ?

I'm not sure if I understand your questions correctly...
First _ I have two Akai Lpd8's under one mapper, but they are on differernt channel (lpd's on channel 2 and RMX on channel 1) and I checked all the miditrace data from lpd's and they're all different from rmx's (not only the channel numbers)
Second - If you mean by 'reloading the default mapper configuration' to reset it to factory settings then yes I did that...
It actually stopped doing that for a while (few hours) just before I cleaned Mac from Vdj... I was saving all the mapping files and I had that 'down ? filter 50% : filter 50%' in there... I thought I better load it in new vdj without it so I deleted just that part... After reloading Vdj it worked fine (for few hours as I mentioned) then it started again...
Would it help to write a definition file for RMX?
