Last night at a gig, the video output from VDJ started to freeze and then twitch. I could disable and reenable the video and it would work fine for another song or two.... Long story short, I realized that the issue went away when I turned off hardware accelleration, making me expect it was my video card (gtx560m) crapping out. Turns out, after a bit of testing, nVidia's new driver for said hardware is the culprit. Rolled back the driver everything is happy now. Hope no one else runs into this, or if you do, you read this post.

I had the exact same issue on that same night. The only video plugin which was working properly was the Camera on live feeds and Sonique when playing non-video files. Disabling the Hardware acceleration didn't fix it for me. I'm gonna try to check if the roolback of the driver will help.

I'm having to use an older driver with my GTX560M too for the same reason.

What is an example of an older driver for Nvidia GeForce 600m series?

I'm using 280.26 with my GTX560M without issue. I tried a variety of newer drivers, including the latest beta ones, but had freezing issues with all of them. Admittedly I didn't try them all as there are lots! 280.26 are working perfectly for me.
