Miss Mix
Hi guys,
I got myself some decks (yay). So I have pioneer 850's Pioneer DM700 I also have an apple mac. I now want to make mix cd's but how do I do this?
1/What software if any do I need to download onto the apple mac that will enable me to record my mixes.
2/What leads do I need to conect mixer to apple mac?
And if I need to do anything else what is it?

If you want free software, try Audacity.
The cable you need will depend on the connections available on your equipment.
The 'rec out' sockets of the DJM700 are RCA connectors, so one end of the cable will need to be RCA.
If your computer has a stereo mini jack input for line level, then the other end of the cable will need to be a stereo mini jack....
Don't send the output of the DJM700 into the computer's mic input though, because it'll be too loud.
It would be preferable to record into an pro external sound card for better quality, connectivity and control over levels.
