it stopped working the the middle of a gig. Doesn't work with VDJ 8 or 7. Doesn't move on the screen when I use the controller but can move it with a mouse?? Does this mean I need to replace the crossfader? the mapping is set to full and enabled?? Any suggestions folks??

Does the crossfader work for normal audio use (using the 6000 to play external sources)?
Have you checked that the fader is sending MIDI data (use MIDI-OX or similar)?
