Not really, the SX2 was launched after V8 so it's beyond the remit of atomix to add new features to an deprecated product. It is supported with the product you bought (v8)
The midi schedule is public domain so if you really insist on using v7 then you've some typing to do.

Is there any particular reason you are still using V7?
I have used V8 with the SX2 since it came out and have had no problems at all.
