hi everyone; i have long time that i don't make any skins so, i want to make one but there is a lot of changes since v7. so if there is any way to still use the old xml line? v8 have to many lines that make me confuse because it use pannels everywhere or can someone explain me how it work. the problem is that when i start with the first line the skin appers distorcionate, like oval

Yes you can still use the old "v7" way to create akins if you wish.
However you should read the skin SDK wi-kias it will answer a lot of your questions.
