how can I workaround this issue? I know I can click on deck 2 with the mouse, but what is the script code for a keyboard shorcut

Depends on what hardware you are using. Prior adding the invert_deck action, there were ways to invert the left/right decks (e.g. using leftdeck/rightdeck actions)
