I am trying to teach a couple of my new DJs how to scratch, and my analogue turntables are out of action, so I wanted to use my MC6000 to teach them the basics, including the most basic baby scratch.
I set up the cue point to the sound I want for the scratch, and place a mark on the platter aligned with the top of the closest volume slider for a reference point, and then show a full 'out' movement for the scratch, and place another tag.
after a couple of times doing this (up to 7 or 8), the jog wheel is resting with the start tag in the correct position, however the playpoint of the song is now sitting approximately 0.2 seconds into the track, any suggestions on what settings to play with? I have upped the jog sensitivity (scratch) but that hasn't resolved it, I have also reduced the latency to 1ms and optimised for latency not quality.
