Lenovo MIIX 310 2-in1 Tablet
i would like to use it for extra pads and sample.
does VDJ8 need to be installed or would i need other sample apps to instal?
this is new to me, i would want to learn more on it
or can i use an android tablet to do what i want?

Depends on your need.
I have a tablet with the same processor, and for audio it's fine to run vdj.
It would mean you run vdj on the tablet indpendent of your other equipment, so currently there's no easy way to automatically sync this with another laptop running vdj.
If you just want an extra controller, VDJ Remote is another alternative, which just controls vdj running on your laptop from your tablet over the network.
Currently VDJ Remote is only available on Android and iOS though, so not possible to run it on this tablet.
