I just wanted to put this out there as a first time user of the software. I experimented today using my Oculus Rift with BigScreen and then promptly firing up Virtual DJ 8 for the first time having downloaded it only moments ago.
Let me just say that as a nearly 20 year DJ veteran, this was a wholly new experience for me. I was able to arrange the screen so that it roughly mimicked having a pair of turntables and a mixer right at near waist level, and while using the Touch controllers was a little tedious, by emulating the screen at waist height and close to me, turning the knobs wasn't as hard as when the "screen" was floating in front of me. I wish I could take a screenshot!
For ANYONE that has a VR setup at home (Vive, Oculus, etc), I *HIGHLY* recommend the experience using either BigScreen or Virtual Desktop.
My turntables are in the closet - I haven't had a controller in ages, and have used Traktor and Ableton for experimenting before playing out. Having this was the closest experience I've had to actually DJ'ing back at home and practicing and playing. Unbelievable. Fantastic product, guys.
