What's up DJs.
I have a Harmon Kardon Bluetooth speaker that I've paired with my MacBook pro and using my VDJ and Numark controller but the sound has a delay about 2 seconds behind and I'm trying to see if that's a software setup/ configuration issue or if VDJ just doesn't work. When I play through You tube or other softwares, the sound is on point.
Anyone know how to correct this delay issue? If I connect the music through hard-wire, it's just fine.
Thanks in advance DJs.

Are you sure it's on point with other sw?
Because bluetooth is expected to have delay.
Normally that doesn't matter much - but when you mix it does matter
That being said 2 sec sounds like a long delay
Anyway:
I wouldn't use bluetooth for DJing.
Not on speakers and not on headphones

Yes, it's perfect with youtube.
I'm just trying to do it for my home ease instead of being tied to a spot, I like to go to my backyard after hours and enjoy some video mixing and if I were able to get this Bluetooth thing worked out, I'd be golden.
But I hear you, if the technology isn't there yet, I get it, I was wondering if there's some adjustments I could tweak to make it work, yeah, 2 seconds is an eternity in mixing.

Maybe look more into how you send to it
I mean: You don't connect bluetooth to youtube. You connect bluetooth to something that streams youtube and plays it
It's a bit of the same with VDJ. That just talks to a sound card driver. So there has got to be something in between that you can look into

This is normal for bluetooth, the latency is always too high for mixing.

Thanks Klausmogensen, I play you tube through my MacBook's wifi and Bluetooth to the speaker and projector.
Thanks Serine, that's what I was hoping not to hear, but suspected.
you're all awesome.

Hi
I run two of the Turbosound IP2000 for my mains. I experimented a LOT with the bluetooth capability. There really is no way around the delay, certainly not the fault with VDJ. Man, it really messes up karaoke songs-lol.
