I’d like to purchase a usb sound card that can feed into my mixer on 2 or more separate channels.
Example: I would allow me to set deck one to channel one on my mixer and deck 2 to channel 2 on my mixer.
Can I purchase a Denon DS1 or a Rane SL2,3,4 and accomplish this or am I required to use the timecode features on both of those boxes?

Yes but you can get cheaper solutions than RANE. No need to pay for the inputs / DVS if you don't use it
If you just want 2 seperate decks you only need 2 stereo outs. You can get that cheap but still with a high quality on a NI TRAKTOR AUDIO 2 MK2 soudcard. If you want 4 or 6 seperate deck outputs you need a soundcard with more stereo outs, but other that that it works the same
